Noteworthy: A Center for Healing Arts
was established in 2005 as a nonprofit branch of Pine Manor. In 2006 we joined International Humanities Center as a project in their wide scope of nonprofit works. Our mission is to promote healing arts and provide care to the caregiver. Pine Manor encourages quiet spaces, listening, and time for nature, laughter, and creativity.

Mark Nepo Project
This year you will have the opportunity to participate in a wonderful fundraising project for Noteworthy and Pine Manor. Mark Nepo is a poet and philosopher who has taught in the fields of poetry and spirituality for over thirty years. Mark has given us permission to use his poetry in combination with art to create quality photo and fine art prints that will be an ongoing fundraiser in support of Noteworthy and Pine Manor. Gail Warner is orchestrating the project by pulling together poet and artists and choosing the poems to match the art and art to match the poems. Kit Maloney launched the art work by creating the first four prints. Dan Gray is an artist and our print master for the project. Dan has done an amazing job composing prints from his photos and art work.

The fundraiser will have levels of donations and gifts that will be received as acknowledgement of each donation. Enjoy the unique prints or give them as gifts of inspiration. All proceeds will go to support the Noteworthy Program. Your donation is tax deductible.

The things that grow into soul, though they depend on everything, need no one's approval. ~Mark Nepo	Grapes While developing these artworks we sought to convey the message of the poetry through imagery. This photo and composition was created by Dan Gray.
And whatever keeps us coming back, coming up, whatever makes us build a home out of straw, out of heartache, out of nothing, whatever ignites us to see again. For the very first time, this is the bluish flame that keeps the earth grinding to the sun. ~Mark Nepo	Sun in Motion At Pine Manor there are several buildings constructed from raw earthen materials. In our straw bale house, our resident artist, Michael Leach, painted a beautiful mural of the sun onto its' floor. Dan Gray and Gail Warner worked to compose this multi-leveled piece.
Loving Yourself is like feeding a clear bird that no one else can see. ~Mark Nepo	Gemseed This print offers a unique style unlike the other pieces. It was designed and composed by Kit Maloney. It offers a subtle, comforting message capable of soothing self.
